BMW 4 Series Coupe (F32) and Convertible (F33) Expose Kidney Grilles!

BMW 4 Series Coupe (F32) and Convertible (F33) Expose Kidney Grilles!
The F32 4 Series Coupe and F33 4 Series Convertible have finally shown one of its most important signature design elements (and on any BMW) - the kidney grilles!

As expected, the kidney grilles of the coupe are sportier (thinner, shapelier and wider) than that of the F30 3 Series sedan. A close look reveals a different number of slats and differing designs for the grilles on each side - 11 flatter slats on the driver side versus 9 'kinked' slats on the passenger side. We are likely looking at the separate grille designs for the different 'lines' that the F32 and F33 will be offered in (just like the F30 sedan). The closeup image of the hood and front end also reveals extra camouflage panels on top the hood (on each side) which give the false impression of a more bulbous and raised hood.

The F32/F33's styling and stance are sportier, lower and wider than the F30. The F32 coupe may also have a small integrated bootlid spoiler which we've spotted in previous pics (reposted below). These prototype still wear some heavy camouflage and although the actual production headlights are still covered, once exposed should reveal a sleeker version of the F30 headlights, but also connecting with the grilles like on the F30.

They decreased the power in the 335i to make room for the sportier M335i which will slot between the 335i and the M3. M335i=S4 competitor. The standard 335i is for people who want six cylinder power, but not necessary the stiffer suspension, high performance tires.. ect.

“?? You had a 328i and got rid of it because it was slower and handled worse than your current car. “

- No. I had a 330i and that isn’t the reason why I got rid of it.

“Why would you get a 4-series which in both 328i and 335i form are also slower and will handle worse? (based on new 3 reviews, the car has been muted and HP decreased on the 335i.)

Unless you just want a cabrio?”

- Why are you assuming that the only criteria that I have for cars is handling and performance? And I do like the Cabrio. We don’t know what the final HP and performance numbers will be. It’s all speculation right now. And besides. Who are you in which I have to explain my reasoning for a car purchase?

"This from the poster who stated performance and handling had to do with their decision to buy something else. This is just what I found from earlier in the year! I guess none of it matters since it will be called a 4-series though, hahaha! "

- When did I say that performance and handling had "NOTHING" to do with my decision? Try to dig that one up (it doesn't exist). You just love to put words in people's mouths. How long did you spend digging all the stuff up? You have issues.

“Please tell me that you're not serious. You just wasted yesterday explaining why Lexus is inferior to BMW in literally every handling and performance criteria (since obviously they never beat them in interior quality, customer service or reliability). And in these very pages you stated you got rid of your BMW because the Mitsubishi outhandled it and outperformed it, to the point you were linking to articles showing this!!!”

- I am serious. And did I say that those are the only reasons? And I never mentioned the things I’m missing about the BMW. But hey… You know more about what’s going on in my brain than I do. So who am I to argue with you?

“And BMW has already stated they will be using the same 2 current engines, in addition to diesels possibly. Why would they build a brand new engine for a coupe/cabrio when they've never done before in their history. It makes zero economical sense, and adds no value to entice people to purchase either over the sedan.”

- OK they’re going to be using the same engines. What’s your point? I get it. Your point is that I always have to progressively get more powerful/faster cars for the rest of time? What is your point?

And I’m going to ask you this again; Who are you in which I have to explain my reasoning for a car purchase?

I said that the 3-series was a chick car, not the 4-series. And where did I say that I wanted another 3-series? You make this too easy.

And there's more to a car than just the interior and performance.

Call me a dummy, insult me all you want. All that does is show everyone that you are an insecure, over-reactive fool that got his feelings hurt. I insult cars, you react by insulting people. Whatever makes you feel good I guess?

The only time I'll respond with personal insults, is after I’ve been insulted first. And all you have to do to get some people’s panties in a bunch (enough to call people names like some sort of adolescent) here, is to say something bad about Lexota.

That’s right, say something bad about A CAR and some people here react with personal insults and attacks. Anyone who reacts like that over a car disagreement has got issues. Sounds like someone you know?

And the car I was actually really considering was a 435 grand coupe (the 4 door).

When asked direct questions you ignore them. You just dance around and try to make some B.S point about nothing. And I still don't understand what point you are trying to make.
