RUMOR: Has The Next-Gen Maserati Quattroporte's Design Been LEAKED via Patent Filings?
It wouldn't be the first time, folks.

New patent filings are showing what some are speculating to be an all-new Maserati Quattroporte.

Taking a look at its design you'll notice the typical, Maserati-like elements showing up. Please note its toothy grille, the portholes on the front fenders and Gran Turismo-like headlights.

Around the back, it seems to emulate Audi's A6 sedan with those rear taillights but what appears to be a quad-tipped exhaust will set it apart, that's for sure.

If this is, in fact, the next-gen Quattroporte making an early appearance, one thing's for sure. It will not be all that much different from the previous generation product given what we can see in these drawings. While it's apparent the current vehicle has a more curvaceous shape, this version is a bit more conservative and chiseled.

Looks a bit like an incarnation of the Dodge Intrepid with Chrysler 200 taillights,Chrysler influence on Maserati is getting a little out of hand.

But seriously I think it will look more exciting than that patent sketch indicates. But seriously the sketch gives a cab forward look compared to a set back look of the current Quattroporte.
