Mystery U.S. automaker to get new diesel engine range

Auto parts supplier Cummins today announced it has reached agreement with a major U.S. automaker to produce and market a light-duty diesel passenger vehicle engine. For competitive reasons, Cummins can't disclose which of the Big Three automakers it will build the engine for. The first vehicles with this engine are expected to be ready for market by the end of the decade.

Maybe its Chrysler, Cummins produces diesel for the Ram already, so it is most likely. But then again you may never know.

I believe is Ford, as they already use Cummins engines for their heavy duty trucks. Chrysler probably would share the technology from Mercedes diesel engines.
