SPIED + VIDEO: Volkswagen's Golf R Drop-Top Spotted Around Town & On The Track

Volkswagen are following the Golf R Cabrio Concept that graced the Wörthersee 2011 stage with a full production version and here is the model in action on video for the first time.

The high performance model was busy testing nearby the Nurburgring circuit. It is wearing the body of the GTI version but the trademark Golf R Talladega-style wheels give away its true identity.

Final production styling will include a more aggressive front fascia, a sport-tuned suspension kit, high-performance brakes and an upgraded interior as well as centrally mounted dual exhaust pipes.
