SPIED + VIDEO: MINI's Upcoming Paceman Gets Caught In Action Around The 'Ring

With MINI's Paceman on the way, development is starting to get well under way, granted, there shouldn't be THAT much work to do -- it's a two-door Countryman, for cryin' out loud.

But as we've seen in several spy images and now a spy video, it's coming to life.

Spotted testing on the now bankrupt Nurburgring, the Paceman is seen getting put through its paces.

We don't expect the Paceman to divert from MINI's typical path of a Cooper, Cooper S, JCW model lineup.

While I thought I saw a little initial turn-in understeer, the thing that concerns me most about this video is that the Paceman seems to be lacking in the power department, from what seems to be a Paceman S variant, is very worrying.

I say this is the "S" variant due to the bumper mounted slot for air and the silver accents on the fender(s).
