Nissan posted a 19.7 percent drop in quarterly operating profit on Thursday as the effect of a strong yen outweighed solid global vehicle sales.
Japan's biggest automaker after Toyota posted an operating profit of 120.7 billion yen ($1.5 billion, 1.2 billion euros) for the April-June period, lower than the average estimate of 142.5 billion yen from six analysts polled by Reuters.
