WORLD EXCLUSIVE! First Real Life Photos Of The 2013 Lexus LS Sedan From The Global Launch In SF
One of the most important cars for our audience over the years has been the Lexus LS flagship sedan.
So when we got wind that they were doing a secret invite only introduction for customers only for the 2013 Lexus LS, we jumped on on a plane and headed to the city by the bay.
The photos leaked out of China this last weekend but until now, no one had REAL LIFE shots of the car.
Enjoy the first real life shots from the global unveil tonight at the Metreon in San Francisco.

Any shots of the interior? since that's the only new thing in it.
I don't like the rims, too crowded and definitely not sporty looking. A 5 spokes rims would've looked much nicer.
I'm trying very hard to like it, but all I see different is the grill.
Still disappointed!

The face is fantastic looking. The bonnet lines flowing into the grille, headlamps, nicely designed bumper and fog lamps housings. Also note that the grille of F-sport and regular LS are different. LS F-sport is definitely top 2 in looks in it's class IMO.

I don't get the theme for this launch.
They have some weird photographs of young people dressed in '80s clothing acting hip around the LS.
They have a bunch of weird tattooed young women posing with the car.
Then they have that colorful "salsa" sign that says "Lexus Attracts".
WHAT IS THE THEME HERE? I am confused.
The car looks boring. The current LS is classy and elegant, if a bit to conservative. This looks like a current LS with some new GS parts screwed on and they don't mix at all. The LS should not look sporty. It should look classy and elegant. The current LS manages to look dynamic because it is classy. This LS...looks botched.

...Willis, How old are you sir? Get with it, It's mid-2013. Okay, I must say the girls with Tats these days look absolutely horrible anywhere anytime, but that new LS is a class act with that performance edge. One things for sure, it will sell. This is just Lexus way of letting the other guys jump out there behind this model and then they'll drop that wicked LS-F...Hopefully.

I'm sorry. Maybe I'm the only one but I think this LS (even if its just a refresh) looks great. It's far more interesting to look at up front than the timeless yet now boring front ends of the S Class or 7 Series. Also looks better up front than the "tryin too hard" front end of the A8. Again, this is just my opinion.

Looking at this car head on just brings back images of the Twilight Zone "Eye of the Beholder" episode.
