Marchionne Tells The EU to Determine What Factories To Close

Fiat-Chrysler Group Chairman and CEO Sergio Marchionne called on the European Union to intervene and decide which automobile factories should be closed to match capacity with the dramatically declined demand for new cars in the region.

"The request to the European Union is to take that on instead of taking on free-trade discussions with Japan," he told analysts and reporters during a conference call Tuesday, saying this is the "only fair way" to deal with the issue of overcapacity.

This man is very smart, but Chrysler product is just bad. Something I'll never understand why companies cannot fix their products, and why the bad genes always remain in their new product lines.
