Nelson Muntz says to Porsche: "Ha Ha"

If Porsche was not so greedy, chances are they would still be an independent company right now. Besides, if Porsche did buy VAG, then the R4 would have been the first project killed, along with the R8 probably.

The R4 should be killed, the R8 wouldn't go anywhere though. At the very least the R8 would be profitable.

Why should the R4 be killed? So should the TT be killed as well?

R4 would be killed because it would end up being a smaller cheaper TT, which would most likely render the TT useless.

There is room for both a R4 and the TT.

ummm...You guys do realize that as of September 2011, Porsche owns 50.73% of the voting rights in Volkswagen AG via their holding company Porsche Automobil Holding SE, right?

That means, that although VW bought out Porsche, the entire VW group of 9 manufacturers including Bentley, Lamborghini and Audi is controlled by the Porsche and Piech families. I wouldn't be too worried about the dilution of the Porsche brand anytime soon....

Caznable55, yup .. very true. Its all family politics and games being played in the background - we are the audience along for the ride. Porsche SE wants to be a holding company and research investment firm with no direction operations reporting - this falls into their plan perfectly.
