Green and Social Democratic Parties Propose 80 MPH Speed Limit On The Autobahn
Germany is going through some tough times these days and after the famous track Nurburgring is close to a bankruptcy because of high debts, a measure proposed by the Green and Social Democratic parties is aiming the Autobahns and petrol heads.

According to the local media, the two parties have proposed a limit on the Autobahns of 130 km/h or 80 mph, hoping that the famous roads will become safer and also reduce the amount of greenhouse gasses made by motorists. The idea isn’t supported by Germans and according to a survey, 82 percent are against the speed limit.

They already try that and as soon as they put the 80 miles limit the drivers got distracted, therefore the rate of accidents rise so quick that they remove the restriction. After a deep investigation they (psychology) found that lower speed limit relax the attention of the drivers to the point that it was catastrophic. They are use to high speed.

Germany, I warn you not to implement Speed Limits as I want a repetition of the memories on Autobahn A1 from Vienna to Munich at constant speeds of 200-250 Km/hr!
