Of The Detroit THREE, WHICH Automaker Has YOUR Attention? Weigh In, Spies!
Post-economic collapse, the Detroit Three were on a battle to survive. Two of the three turned to the American government for aid and one surged forward without help.

Though we could argue over who's doing the best in sales, who has the best balance sheets and which pony car is currently the best, I think there is a far more important conversation that needs to be had.

WHICH domestic, Detroit Three automaker has captured your attention, turned you into a believer OR has made you say "Damn, they finally made a great product!"

While I definitely have a strong opinion about one of them, I am going to keep my hands bound from typing until I hear what you ladies and gentlemen have to say on the topic. Don't want to bias an opinions here, though I find it somewhat unlikely to begin with.

While Ford has embraced a global effort to put better products in consumer driveways, it seems to have trouble moving those hybrids and building a solid economy car that gains traction with buyers.

General Motors certainly captured every boy's imagination with the Chevrolet Camaro but it has a very ugly mark on its legacy with the Volt. Sure, it is an engineering feat but it seems like all the brand needed was a Cruze, not a $1 billion dollar project.

Chrysler's brought forward the Jeep Grand Cherokee that makes me say "Why bother looking at a Mercedes-Benz M-Class," but can you believe it still builds that wretched Sebring now dubbed the 200? The name's not fooling anyone, at least I hope not.

Anyhow, let your voices be heard!

Guess you're the only one who answered the article's question.

All three brands have my attention no matter who bailed what out or who bought what. As a matter of fact, ALL THREE BRANDS HAVE THE WORLD'S ATTENTION NOW. They are all no longer building us POS with four wheels. (IMHO)

Cadillac has my heart and attention really though because they have been in my family for years, they are my favorite brand, and their aim to be the standard of the world again is playing out to be a great thing to watch and they are just getting started.

My pick is GM because of the Chevy Volt, the redemption it represents for that company, and the importance it has for all of us.

As a matter of fact Fiat is being ran out of Auburn Hills along with Chrysler. Chrysler is still Chrysler and Fiat is still Fiat. It's the same guy running two companies. Sergio has threatened to bring Fiat to the states due to issues with the Italian Gov.

Chrysler is still in Auburn Hills, owned by an Italian Company, run by a Canadian. Welcome to the 21st Century.

I will pick Chrysler. With such a fast turn-around, products that are headed in the right direction for current and future needs. They will have a full range of choice from econmy minded customers to low production factory Hot Rods.
