Mercedes-Benz Recalling 2012-2013 ML-Class For Possible Floor Mat Entrapment Issues

A problem with the all-season floor mats sold for use in model year 2012 and 2013 Mercedes-Benz ML-Class vehicles has led to a recall notice.

In a form filed with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the German premium brand said that the mats may not fully conform to the contour of the vehicle's floor and could interfere with the accelerator pedal.

Ok I am a Mercedes fan through and through, but this is ridiculous, havent they learned from the other dozens of manufacturers who were to lazy to fit and propoerly test floor mats...

I've heard of floor mats - but "all weather floor mats"? What the hell is that? Do they really make a difference?

When you have the best selling luxury SUV since 1999 you copy everything.....Floor mat BS didn't slow down sales a bit......
