Land Rover Plant Production Goes Into Overdrive To Keep Up With Evoque Demand

Tata-owned Jaguar Land Rover today said its UK-based Halewood manufacturing facility would work round the clock to meet strong global demand for the Range Rover Evoque.

“For the first time in Halewood’s 50 year history, Jaguar Land Rover’s 4,500-strong Halewood workforce will now work around the clock to meet strong global demand for the Range Rover Evoque,” Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) said in a statement.

Since its launch in July 2011, nearly 88,000 units of Range Rover Evoque have been sold in more than 170 markets, it added.

I'm itching to continue teasing Agent001 with his 2013 Ford Escape fascination, but it may be getting old. The Evoque is a bigger success than the LR3/Discovery. They set the benchmark so high that every other model in this competitive category looks dull and obsolete.
