RENDERED SPECULATION: Lexus Is Working On A CUV, How Does THIS Aggressive Take Strike YOU?

Word is working its way around the rumor mill that Lexus is working on a sub-RX model. As the RX, like most other luxury vehicles, continues to move upmarket it's time to take on the likes of BMW's all-new X1, Audi's Q3 and Infiniti's EX.

As Agent 009 noted in his post the other day, Lexus -- until recently -- had been taking a pretty conservative approach when it came to expanding its lineup. That's could very well change, particularly when there is a market need.

That being said, it's quite clear that Lexus' design language has become MUCH more aggressive. And now that the F Sport packages are appearing on everything from the RX to flagship LS, we can be certain that if there is an entry-level CUV it could be one of the most aggressively packaged vehicles from the big L yet.

Our friends at Club Lexus mocked up our cover image and we're just a bit curious:

Not bad, I think that'd sell. Looks too much like the 2018 Hyundai Tucson though.
