Sounds very VW like. Wait for all the full factory effort teams to pull out of the sport then enter, and go on a magic winning streak agains private teams.

BMW won many races as the engine supplier to Williams, one race with Sauber and a championship with Nelson Piquet.

If VAG can have the effect of advancing technology and increasing competition like they had on LeMans in F1, get in the sport immediately.

Ferrari will not be happy if VAG buys Sauber.
