The Fastest Man Alive Usain Bolt Buys A GT-R - Could He Have Made A Better Choice?
The famous Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt has recently bought himself a brand new car, a Nissan GT-R, becoming the fastest man ever to own this Japanese sports car.

After being involved in some accidents with his BMW M3 over the years, the 26-year old Jamaican sprinter has decided to enter a new league, which is supercar performance for sports car money and what better vehicle to do just that than the world famous Nissan GT-R. Hopefully his driving skills have improved by now and we won’t get a chance to write about a new car crash over the following months.

I am sure Nissan is loving this, I would not be surprised if I see him pop up in a few ads

Despite what this Article says, I doubt he bought a GT-R. Nissan already has an advertising deal with Usain Bolt. I already saw the ad at JFK months ago.

He got paid and he got free car. Sounds like a no-brainer to me.

what a stupid title. What's wrong with the GTR for an athlete not to buy?
If I was him, I would buy me all kinds of cars and one of them would definitely be the GTR.

When Usain Bolt was on Top Gear, he said that his sponsors bought him an M3. I'm sure that was likely how he got the GT-R

Let put this B.S. fanboi aside because most of us up here on autospies or the generals population will Never be able to afford a 6 figures sports car anyway. Here a list of cars that I would like to own if I win a Huge Lottery Jackpot by myself:

Aston Martin DBS
Lexus LF-A
Lambo Gallardo LP-560
Nissan GT-R
Porsche 911 Turbo S
Aston Martin Vantage S
Audi R8 V10
Audi RS5
BMW M3
Lexus IS-F
Ferrari F430

The stock 2013 Nissan GT-R does 0-60 in 2.5-2.7s and 1/4 in under 10s mark and has beat many super sports car that cost 3-5 times it price. The Nissan GT-R is a marvel of engineer like it or not and will be a future collector Super Sports Car.

The GT-R is quick but show me a under 10 second 1/4 mile pass.

...Man, -Lexus you have put together an outstanding list! However, the Corvette ZR1 has to be on this list. Period!

In my best Niles Crane voice "How.... Dare..... You.....?"

The ZR1 is a textbook case of Blood Sweat & Tears getting the best performance out of an obsolete Chassis and Engine Design.

But Blue Bloods would not bee seen in such Redneck Mobiles.

{Dons Helmet, awaits retorts}

Nice, but I wonder if his 6'4" frame would fit in it...

Perfect car for living in Jamaica...Trying to service a German or Italian car there would force him to the poor house! Japanese cars run that market!!

Who are we to decide what Usain Bolt should drive?

The 2013 GTR can do 2.5-2.7s 0-60??? Has this been validated independently or is it factory hype??
