EXCLUSIVE! Is THIS A BMW We Just Spied OR Is Mercedes Wrapping Their Test Cars In BMW Skins To Take Us Off The Trail?

Chalk this one up to friendly rivalry or German sense of humor.

Today our ace SPY, Fred Khaz caught what APPEARS to be a BMW mule (test car in camoulflage) by it's front kidney style grill and exposed headlights.

But on further examination (door handles, seat backs, greenhouse roofline) all signs lead to Mercedes-Benz CLA.

Take a close look at the photos and tell us YOUR guess of what car this is and if this little practical joke between competitors is cool or man crush-ish?

Its obvious by the door handles and window/door curvature and styling that this is the baby CLS

BMW test mules do not look this clumsey as far as body cladding. BMW also uses wheels from current models and black and white print for camoulflage.

I say it is a Mercedes by looking at the sideview mirrors. I can just barely make out the funky shape of the turn signals in the mirrors.
