SPIED: An Auto Spy Catches Something Weird On The Road Testing -- We Need YOUR Help!
A friend of AutoSpies.com, Fred Khaz, has recently nabbed this very intriguing concept roaming the SoCal streets. There's one BIG problem though: We don't know what the hell it is.

Now, we can -- somewhat -- narrow it down by a few key details but that still leaves us with a question mark when it comes to determining EXACTLY what it is.

We know that a lot of the major manufacturers have SoCal design studios/regional offices in SoCal, which is where a good chunk of testing is located. Remember, Death Valley, which is a hotbed of testing activity -- no pun intended -- is only several hours away.

Given the look of that A-Pillar fixed window, mirrors and wheels, I can only wager two possible makes for this product:

- Toyota
- General Motors (Chevrolet)

What say you, Spies?

I am leaning towards Toyota.

Mercedes A class?

My first start was of an A class, the side profile above the wheel well. Because of those distinctive body lines, this could also be a Hyundai in testing.

I want to say Mazda for some reason.

Definitely not the new Merc A class which now looks much more like a VW Golf than a minivan. Not sure what it is though...
