Who Should Worry? Cadillac To Release 10 Models In Next 3 Years

General Motors plans to introduce 10 all-new or redesigned Cadillacs within the next three years, executives said today.

Within the next year, the company plans to show off a redesigned production version of the CTS sedan and the next generation of the Escalade sport-utility vehicle, said Don Butler, Cadillac’s vice president of marketing.

The plan reflects the automaker’s bid to capture a larger share of the luxury vehicle market. The 10 vehicles, which were not all disclosed, include the all-new ATS compact sedan and XTS large sedan already introduced this year. The list does not include a refreshed SRX crossover, which will be introduced later this year.

Cadillac should worry that they will not sell enough and most of the 10 will not turn a profit. Cadillac/GM should be the ones worried.

Cadillac is on a mission. No doubt, all the luxury brands will need to take notice. It's not like Caddy isn't capable of building world -class product...it has proven it CAN!!

yes, they proved this about 70 years ago. Since then... well let's not talk about since then.

Nobody should be worried, because Cadillac probably will not steal too much sales from any of the major brands they are supposed to go against. I foresee these products cannibalizing their own company's sales...

Cadillac needs to make sure they will still be relevant in three years.

The Import fanboys are already showing their worried attitude. Most of them have never driven a Cadillac yet their bias shows their ignorance. If Ferrari has to lease MRC from Cadillac to put on their cars then who are these ignorant haters to judge Cadillac.

Speaking of Ignorance... I wasn't aware that Cadillac invented MRC... I would have thought it was Delphi, a wholly public company... Thats interesting...

And I suppose thats the only claim to fame for Cadillac, using that in their commercial and now every "non-ignorant" Cadillac fan is raving over that... Talk about ignorant...

I couldn't agree with you more. The proof is in the pudding. Most of the comments are from people who not only would never buy a Caddy, but probably can't afford one either.

Worry? Face it Mary Kay, the caddy's never gonna pass. He forgot to turn off his signal sixty miles ago. His onstar is still looking for analog service. The middle brake light is on at every speed. Mostly, except for some reason the LED's are mostly burnt out of that stylish NOT to technology that escaped the cash for clunkers

Right Mr Henry thats why no one else can get them. If you had been right every manufacturer would have had them since there is nothing better in the market. Like Onstar you have to lease it from GM. Give it a rest.

Who? Caddy should worry! They are part of Government Motors who is generating massive losses and whose stock is at an all time low.

If Caddy brings out more dog cars as they have in the past, they can bring out cars like hot muffins and it won't help them. Instead of volume of introductions, why don't they just try to offer two or three really spectacular cars. But no, Caddy has to bow and be the lap dog of the dog eating president and liar and fool in chief. Barry odumbo is wrecking General Motors just as the clueless dolt is wrecking the U.S. economy. odumbo has no understanding or experience in business. He is a total lame brain and makes demands on GM divisions that are proving to damage the companies. obama is like a poisonous toxin to America. obama is TOXIC to everything he touches. In his last months of office, the stink of desperation and panic is all over obama. With obama and his socialist democrats out of power, then and only then can American businesses actually begin to recover.

wow...I have a 2011 escalade and it's a great car. I have never had a problem with the car. It's quick, as agile as it can be for a 3 ton vehicle, and it's better on Gas than my X6. Why are so many knocking this car? If it is a good car, people will buy it. The market determines the car worth. Take a look back in history. When Caddy had the V-8-6-4 it lost about 25% of it's market share in one year. I love to buy American when the Americans design and build a good car. Just saying....

Caddy would do better using kia/hyundai V8's to replace all GM sourced GDI V6 and V8's. Better gas mileage, better warranty, more power all around. Sounds nicer than the V6 too. Just add caddy valve covers and it'll one-up the other GM badged boats.
