VIDEO: Is This Video Confirming What We Already Know About The Next-Gen MKVII VW Golf?

The Volkswagen Golf is one of those iconic products that tugs at your heart. Well, at least let me speak for myself.

As we've been reporting to you, the next-gen -- MKVII -- product is on its way and is slated for a big debut on September 4.

While we have yet to see any official documentation, it's clear from the spy images that the vehicle will be coming to us with some minor tweaks. As with most Golfs, it's an evolutionary process, not a revolution. Word has suggested it will get lighter, it will be slightly larger all around and it will be lower.

The video below gives us the "short story," though don't trust everything you see as some specs/figures may not make it to the U.S.-specific products.

Great, it's: leaner, greener, bigger and has less cargo space.

The real questions are: is it faster, stiffer, better built, can I find one the way I want it and how much does it cost?
