In a marketing point of view, the hearse and limo should've had a different front end to distinguish it from a "civilian" XTS. These days, would you buy an S-Class/7 series category vehicle knowing it is the car of choice by funerals across the globe. And this car is supposed to bring Cadillac back to the Luxury rear wheel drive category. Cadillac=not thinking out of the box. Just sayin.

Does anyone on these blogs ever leave to U.S. and travel to Europe, etc? Luxury import brands we see in the U.S., Mercedes/BMW/etc., typically serve civilian duties, such as taxis, livery, and so on. Why is is so terrible that Cadillac has a car that does that for our country? I'm American and I would much rather have a big black Cadillac pick me up at the airport, than a Merc or Bimmer. Cadillac is OUR luxury brand and has to represent the same way others do in their respective countries.
I'm glad to see these versions of the XTS. This demonstrates the XTS's versatility, as well as its 'civilian workhorse' position in the Cadillac lineup. Personally, that is the most stylish hearse ever produced...just sayin.

Thank you, wcbrown. But, even if they've never left the country, haven't they ever seen foreign movies, television, or world news? This kind of exposure is readily available on the internet.

wcbrown - If you were Cadillac and you are trying to build your reputation as a world class super luxury/performance brand with a just launched "new" rear drive model (after so many years without one), pitted against S-Class and 7 Series and LS460, would you advertise or brag that this new rear drive model could also be a hearse?

I say "brag" because the hearse is at the front of the picture together with the sedan, and the limo is at the rearmost. I'm not American but this to me is an advertising fail.
