WHAT DO YOU WANT NEXT.

I am a car cynic, but I do believe the automakers watch this and other car sites for comments and trends. So being at the cutting edge folks, what new options or features would like like to see in you next car that are not out there today. (Flying cars don't count)

I like the idea of hard top convertibles. That is truly eating your cake. It looks like the days of this being exclusive to stupid expensive cars are coming to a close and will finally become apart of more attainable and practical cars.
Hardtop + Convertible + Great Car + Reasonable Price = Sold.

With that, please release the caps lock on your headlines.

Let's deprive oppressive governments of their oil money this year :)

I agree. Fuel cell, diesel, ethinol, whatever can be done to relieve America's dependency on oil. It's a monopoly. Someone's making money, which is why nothing's being done about it, but it's the consumers getting the short end of the stick.

I'M IN THE DEEP SOUTH. HOW ABOUT A QUICK AEROSOL SPRAY TO INSTANTLY LOWER THE INTERIOR'S TEMP BY 10-15 DEGREES THUS AIDING THE A/C.
OR, A SOLAR PANEL, INSTEAD OF THE MOONROOF, WHICH POWERS A COOLANT MECHANISM/DEVICE WHILE PARKED. AGAIN, TO AID THE A/C.

docsout, in uk we can buy a spray like that in the shops, it's called magicool, and has a very cheesy advert involving a camel.
solar panels though....that is an idea. you could have solar charged batteries for a hybrid, so its mpg soars in sunny weather! i claim rights to the idea.
the panels would easily fit on a car's roof, but i think having a sunroof wouldn't be advised. leave the car to chrage in the sun, and keep driving in sunny weather and the solar could practically take over!
maybe i should give a call to toyota or honda....

The Audi A8 from memory has a solar panel in the roof which powers the A/C when he car is parked.

I'm sure this is a standard feature on many up-scale saloons, but with the technology 'trickle-down effect', expect to see Megane's and Punto's with the technology in a few years. Or so I lovingly predict.

matthew, you know what a megane and punto is, that means you're from the civilised world! ie europe i hope.
maybe that's what audi means by solar roof, i never quite knew what that did.
