SPIED: The 2014 Lexus IS Gets Spotted For The FIRST Time In The U.S.
Off the top of my dome piece, if I could think of the cars in Lexus' lineup that needed the most improvement, it would probably have to be the ES, IS and LS.

Considering the ES and LS have received their respective updates, which feature exterior and interior modifications, that only really leaves one product for Toyota Motor Sales to get to work on. The IS.

And for the very first time, we're seeing spy images of what is said to be the 2014 Lexus IS. Given that the IS is under quite a bit of heavy camouflage, it's pretty evident that developmental testing is not too far along.

Prototypes for the completely redesigned 2014 Lexus IS have been spotted in the U.S., and though they are heavily camouflaged a few key details about the upcoming sedan can be ascertained. We can clearly see elements of the car’s new spindle grille, which looks to be the most aggressive iteration of the corporate Lexus grille we’ve seen thus far.

I know the current Lexus IS250/350 came out in 2006 as an 2007 model I still think it's still one of the best looking car in it class. And when it first came out it was the first cars in this segment to have over 300+ hp.

Anyway I hope this new Lexus IS250/350 will be more dynamic and fun drive. And let hope Lexus don't mess up the redesign like they did with the new Lexus GS (new Lexus GS rear is butt Ugly.)

October 2005 as a 2006 model...

I swear this is the second time I've correct you on this, perhaps it was someone else.

I have a feeling will look very similar to the new GS, which is the model I like the most from LEXUS.

It still looks very small. They've probably trimmed some interior parts to give it more room, but this car really needs an inch or so to grow, it's just too small.

Let's hope it will have nice curves and drives like a real sport sedan.

I'm not sure they can do much with the size. This won't be a new platform. Why do people (not saying you) complain when cars increase in size with each generation, yet also complain that cars are too small?

I hope they can somehow make both types of buyers of this car happy. I believe some adjustable suspension bits are necessary, or perhaps different "lines" are made available. Older people love to complain about the harsh ride of this model.
One of the first refinements to this car SHOULD be to increase the driver's foot room of the AWD cars by relocating or otherwise altering the transfer case.
