R/T Version Of The Dart On The Way - Is Mopar Becoming THE Performance Brand For The Masses?

According to a flier obtained by Dodge Dart Forum, there is another new Dart on its way and will be getting here just about the same time as the R/T model, which is running a little later according to our watch. This model is the Dodge Dart GTS Tribute. The details are still scarce on this model, but the flier gives us a little bit of information.

It’s going to start with a basic 2013 Dodge Dart R/T and its 184-horsepower, 2.4-liter Tigershark 4-cylinder engine with the 18-inch R/T forged chrome wheels. From there, Dodge will slap on a load of Mopar accessories. On the outside these accessories include a black aluminum hood with an appearance intake (AKA a fake hood scoop), matte black chin spoiler, matte black side sills, matte black rear air diffuser, matte black rear spoiler and a carbon-fiber roof graphic (AKA a sticker that looks like carbon fiber).

Where's my Hemi option? Not even the 2.6 Hemi? Front wheel drive WTF?
It's missing white striped tires and Vinyl roof option too.
Grandma of the future will not buy this imposter.
Hyundai could build a better Dart interpretation on the Genesis platform.

With the GTS do you mean pimp my ride.It's all a cosmetic waste of money. The RT will at least give the Dart some more reasonable performance. I'm guessing dropping the 0-60 to around 7 seconds as well as firmer handling.The GTS should have 200 plus HP and a decent suspension option. Cosmetic doesn't do it for me. It's always whats under the hood and how its suspended that has any meaning.
