Did I read the article right or did they have a spelling error? A total output of 200 hp? with a hybrid it's going to be really heavy and slow for a Sports car.

If this is truly a new Lexus GS coupe it better have at least 350-380 hp and 340-380 torques as well to compete with the Big Boys from German and win. And it cannot be to heavy as well.

The GS coupe (and likely GS sedan and IS) will not use the 200hp 2.5L hybrid found in the ES300h (and Camry). This will be a new 2.5L hybrid with direct injection, that will make more than 200 hp. Lexus has already confirmed this.
