The one pictured is a FWD car. Given GM's sudden reach into it's overseas divisions - they'll probably borrow the Holden Commodore should they need a proper RWD saloon. It's a pretty nice ride.

Your right e34! Becuase RWD is just the best!! And remember, you can't be considered a major player without a top performance RWD model.

Please. Proper RWD, what the heck is that?

Now thats an Impala. More imposing then ever and RWD would be a nice touch. GM is getting their $hit together! Honda has done very well with FWD and a main reason other makers are going with it.

By the way Americans 'DO' love large cars. Study show this, but fuel costs condemn them to buying econoboxes. If GM can make the Impala 24MPG on average it will have a winner.

I also heard that might be the Malibu, becuase of the front wheel drive. That doesn't look bad at all.

Nice looking, more sophisticated evolution of the current Impala. Rather like a VW Passat in stance.
