PARIS MOTOR SHOW: 001 Snaps The FIRST Real-Life Shots Of The 2013 Audi R8

Off the top of my head, one of the very first new cars that we fell in love with was the all-new Audi R8, when it originally made its blockbuster debut.

Not only did it look sexy, it always had a certain level of confidence without "overkilling'" it.

And while we'd argue that the vehicle looked good in as-is condition, the top brass from the four rings disagreed. Like most products, the R8 has just underwent a mid-cycle refresh and for 2013 it will be receiving a bunch of updates to keep the R8 on its toes.

front looks great, rear looks great, but what happened to the side profile in the sixth picture down? Has it always been that stubby looking or is that photo compressed horizontally or what?

Photo is definitely compressed. The aspect ratio is definitely not correct....

But definitely looks refreshed...

I am so in lust with this car. See so many driving around my town. They're truly just gorgeous cars, with these same amount of road presence as any Ferrari or Lamborghini I see around town, too.
