EXCLUSIVE: Next Lexus IS And Corolla Caught Testing In California's Urban Jungle
One thing you have to say about this job, it really isn't boring, something is always coming your way.

With everyone carrying iPhones, and Android Smartphones these days, it's easier than ever to share cool photos with us.  A great case in point, is our honorary sleuth on the prowl Fred Khaz.  This man is always on the road and sending us shots of anything of interest he finds.  Just today if you were following our photo ticker you would be the first to see the 2013 Lexus IS and what appears to be the 2013 Toyota Corolla wearing factory plates and in full cammo!

It's easy as 1, 2, 3.

1. Shoot your photo on any email enabled gadget.
2. Email the photo to mobile@autospies.com with a description of what you shot in the subject line like "2013 Lexus F-Sport''
3. The photo then goes live on our 'Latest News And Images' homepage ticker!

Which one is the COROLLA? This is exactly why I get frustrated with LEXUS. Rebadging cars is getting old.

Of course I can tell them apart, I am just being sarcastic since people are really buying a COROLLA for the LEXUS badge. Only in this country people fall for this, too funny.
BTW lexworld is USNA = United States Naval Academy. Not sure if you even know what this institution is since it seems you cannot think outside the box.

I'm seriously looking forward to the next IS. If the handling is going in the same direction as the GS, but the looks is a evolution of the current IS, Lexus will have a true winner and a true contender to the 3Series. I seriously considered the current IS as I love the exterior and interior styling and obviously the quality is there.

I apologize for my mistake. The car is based on another TOYOTA which on the rest of the world IT IS STILL A TOYOTA!
"Based on the Japanese-market Toyota Altezza, the Lexus IS 300 was not originally designed to be a luxury car. When the automaker decided to sell a version of this compact, rear-drive sedan in the U.S., it was retrofitted with additional luxury content and a larger engine -- the 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder already used in the midsize Lexus GS 300 sedan".

You're one generation and half a decade late, USNA1999. The rest of the world, including Lexus, has moved on from the IS 300. Get over it. You must really not have a clue about cars to have convinced yourself that a RWD IS could be a re-badged FWD Corolla.

Looks like a small GS. High belt line and ground clearance. Same porky look as the GS and Infiniti M in non Sport versions.

Cast wheels and dual exhaust IS. Steel wheels Corolla.

Steel wheel pictures show a much different grill than the Furia Concept. Doesn't look as good to me, maybe it is a "S" version Corolla.
