VIDEO: That Lucky Son Of A...Jay Leno Drives The ONE And ONLY Lexus LFA Spyder In The World

As flame wars over the Lexus LFA continue to rage on, likely forever, there are two things that are fact:

1) Not many people will ever experience it in their lifetime.

2) It sounds completely bananas.

But how could the LFA get better? Oh, well, a few words: Lop off the top.

While Lexus trotted out concepts to auto shows prior to the LFAs real-life debut and rumors have speculated about a spyder making an appearance, there hasn't been a green light. But we did get a bit excited when a clip of an LFA Spyder surfaced.

Unfortunately, Leno confirms that plans for a Spyder are non-existent at this point. Remember though, these things can change.

For those of you on the LFA hate train, listen closely to Leno's comments...


It's the only one there is and the only one there ever will be! Jay drives Lexus' 560-hp, 4.8 liter V10-engined supercar.

Good gracious......! What a car and the exhaust note is music to the ear. Jay Leno is on lucky SOB. I would love to drive this Super Sports Car. Great job again Lexus.

Toyota please.....please........ bring the Toyota Supra back and make it as fun drive as the Lexus LF-A and make sure to give it Great exhaust note as well. And price it around $55k-65k with 450 hp and 400+ torques and weight around 3000-3200 pounds. I would be happy to trade in My Infiniti G37 coupe for it : )

I'm not a fan of high-revving V10 engines, but that thing has the most beautiful exhaust note I've ever heard. I know the had Yamaha tune it and it shows.

theres nothing to hate about this car except the price.. the exhaust note really is amazing.
there are plenty of cars out there that are faster, but this car is special in its own way.

I;m a BMW guy but that Lexus has the baddest Exhaust note ever on a production car! that sound alone makes me aspire to own one.

Ok...I don't know about holding "the" record at Nurburghring...but that exhaust is certified to drop panties... sexist...yeah I know...but its true.
