Congrats BMW! Plus they had 2 less cars then the comp all season. Next year should be interesting when BMW will run 8 cars like Audi and Mercedes. ///M Power.

Great news, BMW M is a touring car powerhouse. Surprisingly the same engineers who develop BMW M street cars had a big role in the development of this car.

About time somebody kicked Audi's butt. Now they have to really work at it again.

Since 2000 when the series was restarted Mercedes and Audi each have 6 titles to their name...50/50. This year Audi only won 2 races, Mercedes 3, and BMW 5. For 2013 the same cars will be used as this year, but in 2014 DTM is merging with Super GT which should bring more makers to the championship.

Audi and Mercedes have been in the series for 10 years straight, and BMW comes in and wins all three titles with two less cars in its "learning year". Amazing!!
