Mercedes-Benz Turbocharged AWD A45 AMG To Outgun Both The M135i And The RS3

The A45 AMG represents Mercedes’ first move into the hot hatch market, and uses a hand-built 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged engine driving all four wheels. Producing around 350bhp and 450Nm of torque (the highest specific output of any road car), it’s expected to cover 0-62mph in 4.5 seconds, enough to comfortably outgun rivals like the 335bhp Audi RS3 and 316bhp BMW M135i. It will cost just less than £40,000 when it goes on sale next summer.

well, it does have 4 wheels, 4 doors and it's a hatchback..so I guess it could look like a Matrix (sarcasm intended)

350hp from a 2.0 is pretty impressive, thats the highest hp/liter in this class. The M135i also is not a direct competitor to these cars, the 1M/M2 will be.

Its still Front wheel drive, so Id pass. the 135i is fugly in the front. the headlights and flat pig nose are hideous. Audi looks the best but its a front wheel drive based AWD setup.
