VIDEO: So, How Does Volvo's S60 Polestar Shape Up Against The Likes Of Audi's RS4 and BMW's M3?

I have to admit, 2012 has been a good year so far and just to think, we have two full months left!

When I think of the autos that made their debut and concepts that came to light, there's a couple of standouts. For me, there is one particular vehicle that I adore. That, my friends, is the "Swedish Green" Volvo S60 Polestar.

Much like Lexus' LFA -- which I am also a BIG fan of -- the S60 Polestar comes from a marque that's doing something against the grain and is a symbolic, big, tall middle finger in the face of the industry benchmarks.

But does this actually mean something when it comes to getting on the track and putting down some hard numbers?

Well, there's only one way to find out and Auto Motor Und Sport was on the case.

Granted, it's not exactly what I would consider an independent adjudicator as the driver is one of Volvo's racers.

Too bad this car is not for sale, Even if it was, It will be massively de-tuned, and in regards to this comparison, I think it's a little unfair to compare a concept car to 2 standard road cars. I do love this S60 though, but I think at least bring the C63 AMG Black and M3 GTS for a comparison test, That is a much more interesting test to me. Because those 2 cars are much more similar to this S60 Polestar in concept.
