The problem with these alterations is when it comes time to sell finding a private buyer with your same tastes. If you trade it in
you take a big financial hit as dealers value stock cars over aftermarket after thoughts like this. Buyers and dealers also question the driving habits of owners who go to the performance extremes. Not withstanding the foregoing its in many enthusiasts DNA, my self included, to do things to make our cars our own despite the financial consequences. How far you go usually depends on how much you have to spend/loose !

I don't think you noticed the Reg in this vehicle, the people who do this to high end vehicles in the UK DO NOT CARE about resale values.

You have to remember that here in the UK High Performance vehicles are not as cheap or accessible to Non-Wealthy individuals as it is in the USA, so those who buy, and then {IMO} deface these cars are usually the ones who don't mind loosing 60% of the value within 3 days of purchase.

It is not primer.

Matt finishes is the rage now in London, White on Black is very Popular now also.

Especially amongst the residents and students who originate from the Gulf States.

This is just one of Hundreds of vehicles driving around london with this Colour Scheme.

Just last night i saw 2 Ferraris, 1 California, 1 458 italia parked one in front of the other, Black Roofs, White Body, Black Rims and Lower Lips, Side Trims and Rear Diffusers. this was less than 200 meters from where this picture was taken.

BMW offers this taillights in their aftermarket catalog. They are original.
The unfinished bodywork some mentions are (not BMW i guess) after market carbon parts.
