NYC Resorts To Gas Rationing To Reduce Gas Lines

New York City and Long Island will resort to gas rationing to reduce long wait times at filling stations.

Car owners who have a license plate that ends in an odd number can buy gas or diesel only on odd-number days, while those with plates ending in an even number or zero will be able to buy gas or diesel on even-numbered days. The license plates that end in a letter will be considered odd.
