Didn't they just facelift it? Adding the new headlight and taillights (IMO it looked worse after that facelift). This one looks more in depth. This could be the MDX?

I believe not, by looking at the front grill, it takes the styling cue from the old Pilot, and the Ridgeline.. but you're right, from the back, it looks very similar to the previous-leaked photos of MDX.. However, if I’m not mistaken, the new CRV’s tail has also changed to a more rounded shape. I guess Honda is trying to change the boxy look; this might be the cue of Honda’s styling for the near future.

From the side it looks like a cross between the Lexus RX and Infiniti FX. I'm surprised Honda chose to dump the angular but rugged look of a traditional SUV for something that looks like a lifted wagon.

Honda, your engineering is outstanding, but your designs can be a bit more bold! - Follow the lead of Lexus - initially boring designs - but now progressively more bold - people will come to you because of your name, now make people come to you because they are inspired!

Chewy this is not a MDX look at the front of it there is a Honda enblem in the center of the grille.On another note I think it looks great.

I think is the MDX since it mirrors some of the design features of the concept. I think we all know that the MDX and Pilot are the same car, so maybe some of the new body styling and shape will be used in both models

I have been researching the CR-V and the first thought I had was, this looks like an expanded CR-V. The rear styling also looks like the new Santa Fe. It appears auto makers are leaving the boxy design and going for more swoop on the end.

They stole the rear window from the Infiniti FX.

Audi interiors are the best in class. And their performance is almost as good as bmw. I own a 2004 BMW 530i and a 2006 Audi A4 so i can compare. I also had a 2001 C class before the 530.

personally i do not like volkswagen. But would rather have one of those than a honda or toyota.

Audirevolution, I also love the interiors of german cars and the way it feels while you're in there (a very solid car... that was my experience with a 2003 BMW 528i)
But I think japanese cars (even that I thought they are a bit plastic and fragile) are more reliable... that´s why even in Germany Japanese cars are in the first places of consumer satisfaction and reliability.

Oh, but you're mistaken. Audi used to have the best interiors in its class, that title now belongs to Lexus. The build quality is simply better. And i've got news for you, the Infiniti G35 and Lexus IS350 can run circles around circles around your A4, while the Lexus boasts better interior than your A4, better performance, better styling, better reliability, and if you have the V6 A4, better fuel efficency, and not to mention similiar resale values. While the G boasts better interior space, better design, and an overall superior engine in comparison to your 'german engineered' piece you can an engine. The Infiniti M45/M35 is also an overall better car than your 5 series, it offers similiar if not better handling capabilities, more interior space, better design, and its much cheaper.

VW better than Honda? Hmm, let's compare, Pilot vs Touareg, sure the Touareg has a nicer interior and better off road capability, but its also much more expensive and is the most unreliable vehicle in its class, ask ANY touareg owner. VW's don't fit anywhere, they're too expensive; overall more expensive than Hondas or Toyotas but has inferior reliability and performance. Some of the prices overlap with Audi prices, bad pricing strategy?

Well, seeing this argument will prove that Japanese cars are “at least” a real threat to German cars.

No one can say German cars are not great. But saying that Japanese cars are not good is simply arrogant. One of my friends has a pilot, its pretty nice (from engineering to design) the used materials are not bad, not bad alt all (better that Toyota in my opinion), I’m seriously considering buying that 2008 pilot.

I registered on the site just to reply to this thread. I have a Honda Accord and a BMW 325i. Both excellent cars. The BMW's performance and handling are superior, no doubt about it. It also has had several mechanical problems and costs (no kidding) nearly $1K everytime it's in the shop. The Honda is 8 years older, has had ZERO mechanical issues, other than maintenance, rides fantastic and gets about 10mpg better on mileage. I'm on this website researching my new car - which is going to be a Honda or Acura.

VW and Mercedes are 2 of the least reliable cars,check out Consumer Reports if you don't believe me. They make some great looking cars but they aren't very reliable. Honda has some of the highest resale values of any make. Toyota and Lexus are of course very reliable too.
