Volvo used to be the car that people who wanted a Safe vehicle went to.

Now your average Honda, Lexus or Mercedes is safer.

The smaller Volvo's don't earn high quality safety rating that the Honda Civic does.

They are eroding their core market and turning off their core customers this way.

Most cars are safe today (except the new not sold here yet Aveo) Why were/are they considered the safest? I think that it was all about that they had seat belts first, but now they are not any safer. You are right Volvo can't count on that any more. Take the C70 for example, it is 10k more than a VW Eos, but IMO is about equal.

you both have no clue what you are talking about, your ignorance is overwhelming.chewy you thing volvo got its safty rep from being the first automaker to put three point belts in cars, if i had the time and space i still could not put down all that volvo has done in the name of safty.cliff there is no safer car than a volvo!!!.the EU put volvo incharge of setting safty standards for all cars not MB OR HONDA.CHEWY GET A LIFE .
