SPIED: The MOST Revealing Shots Of The Upcoming BMW 4-Series Coupe Hit The 'Net - FIRST Impressions?
The web is abuzz tonight with the latest and greatest shots of the all-new BMW 4-Series coupe. And now sources are saying that the 4-Series nomenclature is here to stay; however, no word has officially come out of the world of Bavaria.

In the latest photos, the two-door is seen loading up onto a transportation rig. According to folks in the loop, it was being loaded up for an internal presentation.

It's very clear from the get-go that this vehicle will be MUCH more sleek than the outgoing 3-Series coupe. Just look at that roofline. Though I can't tell, I would say BMW also rose the shoulder line of the vehicle.

What makes this specific vehicle interesting is that its outfitted with the Sport packaging. From what we can see, this likely adds the front valence, side detail on the front fenders, Shadowline trim and large diameter wheels.

That said, make sure to take a spin through these images and let us know what else YOU see.

It's been months since we last spied the 2014 4 Series
(F32) Coupe, but here it is, in production form and nearly fully uncovered! What we see is a sleek sports coupe version of the F30 sedan which resembles a smaller 6 Series. This particular 4 Series coupe was captured while being loaded to be transported to an internal presentation. And yes, we are now certain that it will come to market as the "4 Series."

No... It certainly does not appear to be 'much more sleek' (sleeker) than the current 3-Series 2-door, and much as the new 3-Series sedan looks like little more than the previous model with a new-ish front and rear, this appears to be little more than the same i.e. the current 2-door middle with a new-ish front and rear.

please don't have that black side vent surround thing on the production model. Otherwise it looks fine, at least as much as we can see.

OK for M3, but looks silly on anything that's not even 400 hp.

I think it looks good. I think it's sleeker than the current coupe, with a more fluid design. Hopefully there will be nicer touches added to the interior than the sedan's interior and I just might have to migrate from my S5.

Was hoping for something different, more daring in design. When BMW announced the 2 and 4 series they said that design wise there would be significant differences to the 1 and 3 series, more sporty and more appealing to enthusiasts. I get the feeling BMW is becoming risk averse and loosing some of its "ultimate driving machine" in performance and design. The most telling evidence is the digital sound utilized in the M% to create a faux performance image. The ever expanding line, down market movement and watering down of driver involvement may capture new
customer sales in the short term at the risk of longer term branding issues, becoming one of many broad line manufacturers with little differentiation.

Considering the front and rear have not been fully revealed yet its hard to draw any conclusions about the design. Also this new 4 series is supposed to usher in the next generation turbo 6 from BMW, so this model will be fairly significant. I also disagree with your opinion that BMW is less risk adverse...have you seen the new 1 series, X6, 5 series Gt, or 6 series GC?..BMW takes plenty of risk. They also still make the best balanced cars in the class. The engine sound through the speakers is only used on the M5(Audi S6/7/8 also do the same),but it allows the M5 to play two rolls better than any other car in its class....luxury sedan one minute, and super sedan the next.

Pardon me, sir, what the hell are you looking at?

I'm sure the rear will have as much space as another car in this class.

Looks great so far, the M4 is going to be sick!

is a mid size 6 series or a bigger 3 nothing different....they are playing safe....but so far I like it...however the front looks as ugly as the new 3 so far.

To each their own -- in my opinion the front end on the sedan is the best looking part, especially in sport line guise. I think it would look great on a coupe.

Well a "sport vent" wouldn't be fitting on a Lexus prior to the new sporty mission, maybe an "S" or "RS" Audi. It's fitting on almost any BMW model…well, at least it used to be.

This new coupe is actually appearing very reminiscent of the 8Series, which is a good thing.

It's no ground breaking design and frankly looks like previous 3 series coupes. It is certainly NOT sleeker looking at all. People critisize Porsche for lack of design change.I think BMW is right in the same boat.

Cant even see the full thing yet... If your talking about lack of design change than Audi is hands down the biggest offender.
