A Peek Inside The Kimono? Lexus Readies The AMG Killing 650 HP LS-F Project For Debut
Think Lexus is tame? Just wait until Toyota's racing division releases this 650-horsepower super-sedan.
You can't keep a good racing engineer down. So when Toyota Motorsport GmbH had nothing to do in between the shuttering of its F1 team and the launch of its TS030 Hybrid endurance prototype, it started toying around with the Lexus LS. The result is set to debut later this month at the Essen Motor Show (Europe's equivalent of SEMA, only sans the Vegas glitz), but to get the juices flowing, TMG has released a series of teaser images to join the spy shot we've already seen, showing specific angles of its pet project.

Nice to see Toyota is stepping up! I remain hopeful that Honda will bring back the NSX will real horsepower in a TT-V8 or V10 package...

Nice job Lexus. Now they need to make real Lexus IS350/IS-F, GS350/460 coupe version and bring back the Toyota Supra with a twin turbo V6 or twin turbo V8 with 560+ hp.
So that they have something to against the Nissan GT-R, Honda NSX, Porsche 911, BMW M3, Lexus IS-F. MB C63 AMG, Audi RS5, Audi R8 V8 and Aston Martin V8 Vantage (performance wise).
Hey VW own the following brands and cars and have them compete against each other like the Audi R8 V8/V10 vs Porsche 911/turbo/turbo S, and Lambo Gallardo all compete in the same market with similar customers base. So why not Toyota and Lexus.
Keep up the good work Toyota!!

V6 on a supra? No way, an inline 6 is much better and will handle the power. An inline 6 has mre main bearings on the crank than a V8. the inline 6 has 7 mains while a v9 has only 5, and a v6 only has 4. Thats why the 2JZ-GTE could hold 1,000 hp on stock internals.

This is not Lexus quality. Cheap looking carbon parts, sport wheels, gold brake callipers are typical german chop-shop parts for Golf 2. I would not allow them to make it officially. THIS CAR IS SHAME.

Uh.. Hello? It's in the development stages...
Notice also how you can't open the trunk without tearing the deck spoiler? It's meant to give an idea of what they're developing.
