I'm sorry to break the bad news to you Hyundai and Kia but I think it's going to take 3-6 years before people forget about you lying to them about the gas mileage.

And at the same time your competitors who has cars that is better build are going to releases tons of new or redesign cars themselves.

This site has failed to post Hyundai sales figures for the last few months that showed slowing growth with an actual decline last month.

Anyway, 41 new models in 4 years, that's about right when compared to their previous development. The design originals will come out within 3 years and it'll take KIA a year to copy them.

Check out the updates. On the highway, the mpg were really inflated. Elantra and Accent lost 2 and 3 mpg. 0 vehicles with 40+mpg rating now.

This is for real...

I was really close to taking delivery of a new Kia Soul when the news came out about how Hyundai/Kia was guilty of huge lies with their bogus fuel economy ratings.

I've bailed on the whole idea. And I've lost my enthusiasm and respect for both brands.

I will not be driving one of their vehicles ... EVER!!

Not really, they just need to wait and then copy whatever designs come out. For the Koreans, it's like putting a car (or anything else) through a photocopier.
