AUTO BILD Test 50 Cars to See Which is Quickest to 200km/h (124 mph)!
I n ten seconds from 0 km to 100 / h sounds less spectacularly. Catch a car but in that time to 200 km, which makes quite a stir. Therefore, we have compiled the top 50 sprinters in the AUTO BILD test database. It became clear that beyond the 300 hp in the times of Null-bis-100-km/h-Disziplin still very close to each other. More than three quarters of the athletes require between four and five seconds for the standard sprint called. The best and the worst separated only 2.2 seconds. On the way to 200 km, the field then spread much faster. Just under ten seconds between the champion and the rear.

Moreover striking: The engines are increasingly used turbocharged engines. In the field of the fastest 50 60 percent work with turbo or supercharger. In the top ten, there are already 80 percent. Also on the vast majority of the acceleration aces automated, so with the aid of a transformer or an automatic dual clutch transmission. Only eight of the 50 vehicles you can still find a clutch pedal. It must have a manual transmission to be a handicap. Number three and five will go to sports cars with manual transmission. Enough of the gray theory, which found 50 fastest 0-200 km / h at the top sprinter in the gallery.

If all roads were straight this test would be the be all and end all of performance metrics. But it isn't, cars still have to turn. Having said that, it's still an interesting read, even if you just go by the rankings and can't read German.

Biggest surprise is the M6 cabriolet. That thing can motor, even at 4500 lbs...and can seat 4.

Not being biased, but if the 911 Turbo S actually had a back seat and a trunk, then the GT-R may not have finished 2nd. OK, I'm being biased.
