Survey Indicates 92% Of Chevrolet Volt Owners Would Buy Another
General Motors' plug-in hybrid electric Chevrolet Volt topped Consumer Reports list for consumer satisfaction for the second straight year.

Consumer Reports said 92 percent of respondents who own a Volt said they would definitely buy it again — down from 93 percent in 2011.

"The Volt's two-year reign at the top of our satisfaction survey points to the continuing trend of owners' enthusiasm for cars that are fuel-efficient cars, especially as we see more and more hybrid and electric models hitting the market," said Consumer Reports' Auto Editor Rik Paul in a statement. "The combination of sporty handling and strong engine performance also goes a long way in building loyalty and generating excitement among owners."

This survey is akin to saying "99% of democrats will vote democrat again." People who bought these POS cars in the first place are interested in two things:
1. Image
2. Being the first

As long as the Volt offers that, they will keep buying. The car need not be good, reliable, fun to drive, or anything else. If it is "eco special," then the buy feels eco special.
