Website Names Romney's Jeep Misquote As
The Pulitzer Prize-winning fact-checking website PolitiFact on Wednesday named Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney's ad falsely claiming Chrysler Group LLC planned to move Jeep production to China as its "Lie of the Year." The site called the claim "brazenly false."

The controversy — which began when a blogger misinterpreted a Bloomberg News story and Romney picked up the claim that Chrysler was considering moving all U.S. Jeep production to China — dominated much of the coverage of the presidential campaign's final two weeks.

"People often say that politicians don't pay a price for deception, but this time was different: A flood of negative press coverage rained down on the Romney campaign, and he failed to turn the tide in Ohio, the most important state in the presidential election," PolitiFact said.

Do you know the difference between "moving production" and "adding production?" Does "they will build all their models" mean the same to you as "they will build all their cars?"

Americans love their low mpg vehicles but don't like to know how gas prices are kept low. Reality is a bitch, just like Obama is to China.

How about GM was a success because it sent 131,000 jobs overseas after the bailout? Successful for China perhaps. The media is adept at fooling stupid people into thinking Democrats are good for America.

Sorry to hear you sampled the Kool Aid from President Cool and were duped into thinking he had a clue about anything.

We'll see if if he blocks A123's sale or if he allows it to go through to reward his masters in Beijing.

I'm just waiting for him to continue his Class warfare strategy and begins blaming the upper middle class for not paying their fair share in taxes. Something for nothing, that's what America is about now. That and stupid children.

Also going to start building them in Europe. Anyone who doesn't get that this is going to greatly reduce US Jeep production is lying to themselves. What did Obama think was going to happen when he gave controlling interest of Chrysler to Fiat?

And odumbo just ordered our troops into Syria for yet another war.
And this dolt received the Nobel peace prize.

No that is the greatest lie.
