The vast majority of people don't drink and drive. So this is nonsense and would never stand.

If the NTSB "board" needs something to do, besides WASTING OUR MONEY PROPOSING NONSENSE, they can brainstorm ways to help solve the crisis of drivers on cell phones and texting. Also, drivers who speed in 25mph residential neighborhoods.

While I understand Google's involvement in self-driving cars, I'm perplexed by the lack of involvement by the huge liquor concerns such as Brown-Forman, Constellation Brands, Diageo, Pernod Ricard, and Bacardi & Company. Those guys should pool together to develop the technology because when people can drive themselves home safely without subjecting themselves or others to the dangers of public intoxication (walking, public transit and taxis) there'll be a whole lot more drinking.
