AUTO SPIES EXCLUSIVE: Best look yet of the upcoming Mercedes CL63

One of our Spies caught this Mercedes-Benz CL63's in testing in Colorado...You can tell it's the 63 because the four large exhaust pipes give its identity away. I for one love it. If I was to retire tomorrow, I think I'd want to drive this thing for the rest of my days. I've not driven it yet (and probably never will), but the design just speaks to me. Great-looking car IMO.

efoxs4, there might be. there were two amg s classes last gen (55 and 65) so why not 65 and 63?

efoxS4 - The CL63 is already on www.mercedesbenz.com European websites such as Switzerland. The CL63 will be available very shortly after the "official" introduction of the C216 (CL) next month in Paris.

the 6.3 is a new engine developed by AMG, why wouldn't they use it? By the way it is a 6208 CC engine with 8 cylinders in V configuration. the 6.5 is actually a 6 liter V12 with twin turbochargers.

Sorry, but for the life of me I really don't like the looks of this car at all.

Who knows perhaps when all this camuflage is taken off or when i see it in person I may like it, but the pictures alone turn me off.

I wonder if the close proximity of the 63 and 65 naming will have an affect on the sales of either engine type.

Don't like it, I think the MB CLS look way...better than this CL63. The rear of this CL63 look very similar to the current Honda Accord Coupe. Don't belief do a search and find out for yourselve.
