AWESOME or AWFUL: The Agents Get The BEST Photo Of The Lexus LF-CC's Instrument Cluster - GIMMICKY or GREAT?

Although it isn't the first time the Agents have made ourselves familiar with the Lexus LF-CC, it is the first time we're getting an up close and personal look at its instrument cluster.

While I don't believe this will translate into a production vehicle straight away, it does showcase what is on the way for the future. It's a mix of Lexus of yore and what is to be expected in the future. Note the hybrid gauge on the left-hand side of the cluster BUT check out how Lexus kept the tachometer with the numerals around the dial as in the original IS.

Though it is clearly overstylized, it does present a forecast of what's coming down the pike in terms of readouts and positioning.

That said, we have to ask:

Is THIS treatment AWESOME or AWFUL? Is the Lexus LF-CC's instrument cluster GIMMICKY or GREAT?

The Lexus LF-A was the first super sports car to came out this cool instrument cluster similar to this and now everyone is copying them. I think it look really cool and sporty.

If you are a casual driver it adds to the ambiance of an interior...but if you are an enthusiastic driver it is a nightmare to read taking your eyes off the road.

Looks fine to me, unique like the first IS' chronograph gauges which I would've like to have seen kept.

Its only a gimmick because the Koreans didn't think of it first but rest assured, they're taking notes and the Hyundai LFK will have one too.
