Everybody is missing the most obvious - the classic Citroen D models of the sixties and seventies. Not only a beautiful car, but way ahead of its time and the most beautiful ride on that hydraulic suspension.

You missed many beautiful cars on the list. It is personal preference. I like the CLS/SL, F430 is sweet, SLK 55 is a little too compact for me but still has a beast engine. All Aston Martins I like. The new TT is quite stunning but it isn't the most beautiful car nor should it be on the top 10 list. why? because there's a whole different segment above it.

Rupert,

I like the GS design. Best-looking Lexus IMO. You can't change my taste. ;)

i'm just not sure about gs. i was never a fan of the quad headlamp thing and now...it just looks weird. has some very clumsy angles (rear 3/4 especially) and the lamps make it looks squinty. it's not ugly, but it is not sexy or beautiful. without those inner headlights i think it looks a load better. cover them with your fingers on this gallery
http://www.parkers.co.uk/choosing/carreviews/gallery/?img=10&model_id=1371&category=Static%20exterior
and see the other pics, the side profile makes it looks fat and not sporty at all. no edges, and i like edges. thus the like of the z4 and its proportions
http://www.parkers.co.uk/choosing/carreviews/gallery/?img=14&model_id=74&category=Static%20exterior
it looks different. and cool. Will, i wouldn't cal the gs sleek, more...swish or swoopy. or dumpy.
i may not be able to change your taste but....well i'm sure i can do something.
brainwashing? murder? ;)
oh no you've made me start using smileys. now i can't stop.
:) :D :] :( :[ :0 :(** :P :S :

oh and i think the range rover is very good looking

*sees Lexus GS on the list*

*spits coffee all over computer screen*

The Lexus GS looks fat. Not sporty, fat. Think the old GS, but with a beer gut.

My contribution to the list? The entire Alfa Romeo range.

I just notice someone here mention Alfa Romeo, Alfa Romeo is probably the Ugliest car out there. Even the dawn Kia Brand look better than that. The design of the Alfa Romeo is just Fuggly....in my opinion.

Want to look a real beauty, go and look at the design from this auto company. In no particular order: Aston martin, Lexus, BMW, Audi, Ferrari,Lambo, MB, and the Bentley. Now all of this auto manufactured know how to design car.

Lexus

Alfa LOL:) yeah right...

in reply to lexus

so alfa´s are fugly ? Hehe...personal preferences , BUT im sure if you asked all car designers in the world together, alfas design history would be in the top 5. You have to remember that alfas of the past was designed by bertone, zagato, pininfarina & guigiaro, some of the most succesfull design companys ever :)

Since 1986 centro stile has designed alfas, and won MANY awards, hell alfas has been known for their style througout their entire history. You should take a trip to italy some day, and learn something about style...

I´m very sure that alfas wont ever be the same build quality as lexus,MB,audi or beemers, but in regards of car passion, style & innovative solutions, cuore sportivo forever :)

the gs is not elegant, at all. it is awkward, the boot is too short, the nose too flat. a 5 series, while it may not have good detailing, is proportioned well. that's how japanese styling works, in pieces, each bit of the gs looks good, but all together? no.
and "lexus" lexus cannot design a good car, as shown by the sc, that terrible fat boat of a car. the gs is ugly as sin. and alfas are beautiful. they are poised and elegant.

Look wise, the veyron isn't that great looking. Having test drove 1, interior, the back of the car is fairly nice. The front end of the car could use a little change.
