TEASED! Infiniti Teases Its All-New Sport Sedan Debuting At This Year's 2013 Detroit Auto Show
It's been a long time coming, but finally Infiniti's G replacement appears to be here. Dubbed the Q50, it will be the first Infiniti product adopting the brand's new nomenclature.

While the spy photos have provided a bit of context into how it will look, now with approximately two weeks to go until its blockbuster reveal we're starting to see the teases. Thankfully, it doesn't seem like Infiniti will be going the route of the painful slow reveal.

In this 30-second clip, Infiniti shows us the headlight. Yes, just the headlight.

Man, it sort of looks...pissed off!

Wow... I like the the headlights a lot : ) I can't wait to see the entire car both inside and out and it spec as well. Hopefully the next generation G37 coupe or whatever they plan to call will get some of the G35 coupe design element in it. And the exhaust sounded great as well. Let hope the base model have around 350-360 hp and around 325+ lbs. ft of torques.

And it even better if they manage to make the next G37 coupe look like a Aston Martin V8 Vantage but with a Japanese flavor ; ) So is Infiniti planning to make a Nissan GT-R version for the next G37 coupe as well? We already know they're planning a Infiniti M56 Nissan GT-R version.

@JapanEngineeringNo1

The new naming structure isn't "for some reason." It's a direct influence of former Audi exec Johan de Nysschen.

Rumors around the "Infiniti GT-R" have pinpointed the M chassis gaining the benefit of the souped up six-cylinder powerplant. Pure speculation, nothing more.

I like the sound of the engine. Hopefully it will be much more refined than the current one. it definitely sounds powerful. As for the headlight, nothing special yet.

I just leased a new 2013 G37S sedan, and now I feel I hurried... I'll need to try and break my lease this year to get the new G.

I'd say hang onto it.

If you're in a two or three year lease the car's initial "first year kinks" will be worked out by then.

Plus, like @iamdabest says below, you probably got a killer deal whereas that will NOT be happening with the Q50 off the bat.

the lease programs have been nuts on the g37x sedan .. middle man leasing companies had them going for 290 a month with 1000 total out of pocket for 18 months... ( 45k msrp)
