BMW EXTREME MAKEOVER: A BMW M3 Undergoes A Serious, SERIOUS Diet To Take On The Green Hell

Though I would disagree, a lot of folks are thoroughly convinced that the E92 BMW M3 makes for the perfect track car. OK. The thing is most folks tend to keep them in a fashion so they can be daily driven as well as taken to the track.

For one M3post user though, it's clear they're not fooling around. That's because he's put his 2007 M3 on a serious diet. And when I say diet, I mean he's ripping everything out of the car that is not necessary.

As you can see from our cover shot, they've gotten pretty far but please note that this project is a work in progress.

Why make a car do what it's not intended for? No matter how hard you try it's not gonna be a GT3.... even last generation GT3 probably still drives better and faster.
