VIDEO: Is The BMW M6 REALLY Worth The Extra $ AND Is It REALLY A Sports Car?
When you're spending upwards of $89,900 for a BMW M5 or $106,100 for a BMW M6, money can't be that much of an issue. And if it is, maybe you shouldn't be buying one at all.

But one of the buff books posed an interesting question in a recent video: Is the BMW M6 really worth the extra nickles AND is it really that much more of a performer?

There's only one way to find out -- put them on the track and get out the measuring equipment.

While I won't give away the ending, I will say I am actually surprised.

Take a look at the clip below and weigh in on the comments.

We see if BMW's new flagship, the 2013 BMW M6 is truly better at the track than its cheaper brethren, the 2013 BMW M5, on the latest episode of Car and Driver: Abroad.

I don't give a rip what others think. Is something "worth it"? Using who's entirely subjective criteria? Is it a "real" sports car? Sounds like the Harley crowd asserting that everything other than a Harley isn't a "real" motorcycle. Meh!

Get what you want, folks! And also develop a good sense of DILLIGAF(Do I Look Like I Give A F*ck?). You'll be a whole lot happier :-)

Agreed. Both are incredibly quick, with the M6 being a faster track car. But in the real world it makes no difference. The 1/4 mile trap speed of 122 and 124 on a "cold and greasy" track are very impressive though.
