DETROIT AUTO SHOW: Who Is Hyundai Gunning For With The Mysterious HCD-14 Concept?

No information has been revealed, aside from this single teaser image, but Hyundai says it provides “a glimpse into future Hyundai premium vehicle design, advanced 3D gesture-based technology controls, and spirited driving dynamics”.

The HCD-14 is the latest in a line of concepts which stretches back to 1992 with the HCD-1. Like its predecessors, the HCD-14 has been designed at the Hyundai California Design facility, which has provided the concept its name.

Hey.... that's a very beautiful Audi A7 or Aston Martin ; ) wink wink.... IMAO...... That's why I will NEVER buy a cars made from Kia or Hyundai.

I know every cars company borrow ideas from each other and than add their own flavor but Kia and Hyundai seem to do a lot of copy and pasting. And then call it a day.

Wow, they're stealing other company's ads now? Nissan must be pissed off.

....Hey come on guys, stop all this hate! Anybody remember when Toyota, Nissan and Honda was over the top with that copying thing? Let Hyundai/Kia bring it on! The Big boys love to school the wana be's and the copy cats. Always remember it's not so bad being a copy cat, as long as who you are copying is one of the best!

So you're all for pirating music, videos, plagiarising research (which the Koreans have been caught twice now on the international stage) as long as you're copying the best.

How come its only cheapskates who don't mind blatant IP theft? Somehow I don't think Apple, BMW, Audi, Ford, Toyata etc love how the Koreans are ripping them off left, right and center. Even Google is under threat that Samsung will just take Android and produce their own O/S now that someone else has done all the work.

Only people with no dignity buy Korean, which pretty much means 90% of Americans.

Where is the mistery design , all know when something coming from Korean brands is just copy and pastes , so an angle from BMW , other side from Mercedes, this time lateral Audi angle, and some clue from Jaguar. Yeap this is a great mistery, and poor Maseratti that Kia take the grill without even ask them ....wow...

This is not about hate , this is about to be original , the use of brain , imagination , creation , like German does. They create , produce , design , and the best thing , quality, they have history and identity.
